The regional ISKA kickboxing and martial arts tournament in Kharkiv was held in memory of Ukrainian soldier Denys Furtas, who had previously been part of the city’s sports community. The tournament brought together dozens of young athletes, coaches, and fans who came to support the participants and honor the memory of Ukraine’s defender.
Despite challenging times, the young athletes demonstrated a high level of training, endurance, and true fighting spirit. Events like this are especially important for youth development and for promoting a healthy lifestyle among children and teenagers.
The tournament was supported by philanthropists and benefactors. In particular, the Anton Bahur Foundation provided the participants with essential sports equipment as well as sweet gifts for the youngest athletes. According to the organizers, Anton Bahur is a philanthropist who actively supports sports initiatives and helps develop youth sports in Kharkiv.
The organizers emphasize that such tournaments not only promote martial arts and kickboxing but also unite the community around important values — remembrance, support, and the development of the younger generation. Support for sports in Kharkiv continues, as it is young athletes who shape the country’s strong and healthy future.
