A drone detector was provided to the Svitla Ukraina Charitable Foundation to help improve the safety of its team during civilian evacuations and humanitarian missions across the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
For volunteer and evacuation teams working in high-risk areas, equipment like this has become increasingly important. These teams regularly operate in locations where aerial threats remain a serious concern. Receiving an early warning of a potential threat can provide valuable additional time to react and help make humanitarian operations safer.
The Svitla Ukraina Foundation works in areas where people often need assistance the most. Evacuating civilians, delivering humanitarian aid, and supporting communities in frontline regions require not only courage and dedication but also appropriate safety equipment.
That is why supporting those who provide assistance is just as important as helping those who receive it.
Behind every evacuation are people willing to travel into areas others are trying to leave. Behind every humanitarian delivery are volunteers who continue their work despite the risks. Those who rescue, evacuate, deliver essential supplies, and remain alongside civilians also need protection.
Supporting volunteer teams and charitable organizations is an important part of providing sustainable assistance to civilians. The right equipment helps these teams continue their work and reach people even in challenging conditions.
We thank the Svitla Ukraina Charitable Foundation team for their daily work, civilian evacuation efforts, and continued support for communities across the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
We will continue supporting those who rescue people, carry out evacuations, deliver essential aid, and remain beside civilians where help is needed most.
